   Made symbolic link    /dev/modem --> /dev/ttyLT0

Using /etc/modules.conf:
/etc/modules.conf already contains the entry for the ltmodem, not changed.

Updating module configuration database.

A ltmodem/DOCs/ folder has been installed in your Systems documentation,
  /usr/share/DOCs/ltmodem,    or alternatively,
can be downloaded from http://www.heby.de/ltmodem/

   in particular read LastAdvice and scan Ltmodem.html
To get online, the Port to be specified in your dialout scripts is  /dev/ttyLT0 
OR alternatively,  /dev/modem, if the Device File System is implemented.
