Route des Grandes Alpes
Katelyn, my dear friend whom I met last year whilst working in Reno, Nevada, came over to Switzerland do some adventuring. Knowing her stamina and love for the nearly impossible, I planned the impossible.
Together with my crazy pal Tobias, we cycled from Winterthur to Nice, the French city on the Mediterranean. Most of the way, we followed "Route des Grandes Alpes", and as the name suggests, it crosses the Alps at its highest moutainpasses! Around the Western Alps
In the summer of 2010 I undertook a 13 day cycle trip around the
three-country corner Switzerland, France and Italy which encircles the
Western Alps. Here are my short notes.

Website overhauled
I was not happy with the old site on WordPress. Not that anything is wrong with WordPress, it is not the way I work. The new site is static HTML 4.01 and CSS constructed offsite with WML and my favourite editor ViM. (Visvanath, July 2010)
